Maine in September

September in MaineMaine is beautiful every month of the year, but it month has its own special flavor! September is a glorious month. County fairs and festivals dot the landscape. Food is everywhere! From amazing American and Ethnic Cuisine restaurants, to tiny beach-side snack bars , to grange hall suppers, and the best seafood on this side of heaven. The leaves are starting to turn and it won’t be long before the whole state offers a spectacular drive-through foliage display. The evenings are starting to cool down, some early mornings can be foggy, but the days are sunny and warm (unless it rains of course!)
